Play is the child’s work and can be utilized with the many facets of early childhood teaching techniques to build a strong foundation. By balancing active time with quiet time, teacher-directed activities with child-selected ones, and structured learning with fun time, Open Arms encourages the child’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the Lord’s creation. Our use of “The Creative Curriculum” and “Faith Alive Curriculum” assures a hands-on developmentally appropriate approach to the introduction of new concepts and skills.
